System Overview
While active systems attack the fire, Passive Fire Protection (PFP) confines flames, toxic fumes, and deadly smoke to the room of origin. PFP maintains structural building integrity and protects escape corridors for a certified time window, requiring zero human, mechanical, or electrical intervention.
All passive fire products supplied by Safe Tech are tested and conform to IS:12458. Utilizing Firex FM 71 Mortar and high-density mineral fiber boards, our certified technicians seal wall openings, floor slabs, cable penetrations, and pipe ducts to achieve 120-minute to 240-minute certified fire barriers.

- Firex FM 71 Mortar: 75mm thickness achieves certified 2-hour fire rating (75kg / 3 bags per m²)
- Mineral Fiber Boards: 5 plates required for 2-hour rating, 9 plates for 4-hour rating per m²
- Intumescent fire pillows, silicone mastics, and elastomeric firestop caulks
- Sealing of MEP penetrations, busducts, HVAC openings, and expansion joints
